Mykonos, according to mythology the island was formed from the petrified bodies of the giants killed by hercules. It is one of the beautiful whitewashed islands of the Cyclades.

During the day Mykonos is full of wandering tourist fascinated with the whitewashed painted architecture which flows into a labyrinth of alley ways, full of quaint shops, sexy restaurants and bars.

At night, Mykonos Town takes a whole new life, flooded by young beautiful people ready to have a good time.

According to the local males of Mykonos, during the summer seasons, young semi good looking greek men can “hook up” with any of the thousands of tourist females vacationing and partying on the island. And when I say “hook up,” I mean getting laid, having sex, doing the naughty!

One handsome local stated having sex with at least 40 friendly tourist in one summer season…. WOW!

Sex might be easy for the young males of Mykonos to find in the summer nightlife but finding your soulmate is not so easy.

According to my handsome Mykonos friend, ” In a population of 10,134 the female population consist of the older undateable women and women you might be related too, so the chances of finding a mate on the island is slim to none.”

Most locals find a mate off the island in places like Athens or when they travel to other countries.

He stated that during the past few years it’s also become the norm for couples to divorce after 20 to 25 years of marriage. He stated that even though the island is small the divorce rate is high. So sad!
